In June of 2016, M&J Gourmet hosted its 3rd Open House to welcome the public into our shop and let them sample our delicious products, as well as being given the chance to win an awesome gift basket! This time I gave the open house a bit of a twist by hosting 8 other local businesses inside (and outside of) my shop to display and sell their products. During my first year in business, I have met, and been inspired by so many other local business owners, many of them women, that I wanted to have the opportunity to support them. This seemed the perfect venue to do just that!
It was a well attended event, offering exposure for all of our businesses, and giving our customers the opportunity to sample, win prizes and have fun while shopping many amazing products and services. I look forward to our next annual Fall Open House on Saturday October 15, 2016. At this event, M&J will feature our fall products, offer kids activities and family fun, and of course have LOTS of food and drinks to taste!
